- ECCM is focused on delivering absolute returns through the cycle via quantitative trading strategies
- Our research-led approach is grounded in statistical analysis and supported by academic research, and our strategies are developed with portfolio management frameworks to manage risks and seek to maximise returns
- Our flagship fund, ECCM STF, implements a proprietary systematic trend-following approach which has been observed since ECCM was founded in 2008, and traded as a standalone strategy since January 2020. The strategy seeks to exploit price trends in global futures markets, also known as the persistence of time series momentum or serial correlation. Time series momentum is an asset-pricing anomaly in financial markets which is well documented in academic literature. Strategies which successfully exploit this anomaly have historically shown strong risk-adjusted returns and may outperform other strategies in periods of market dislocation and/or distress
